by Mark Remenyi Visit Date:August 30, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Good facilities. Pool a bit oisolated, but nice. Great location. Good service. The room was excellent. The all-important bathroom functioned very well.
The breakfast was a bit disspointing, as they were shutting it down 30 minutes before 10am, trying to get-a-move on.
That being said, I would stay there again." |
It was easy., June 17, 2009 by Douglas E. Vigil Visit Date:June 12, 2009 "this is a very nice hotel in Ayutthaya. Our room was clean and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. The pool and health gym is very nice and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in Thailand. We found the staff attentive, friendly and helpful. All in all we had an enjoyable stay at this hotel and will probably stay there again." |

April 1, 2009 by Karine P Visit Date:March 27, 2009 "ok price to value and view BUT problems included : staff speaks little English, we found a cockroach in the room, no elevator or ramp access to restaurant which is not convenient with stroller, and we were charged abusively for a broken item" |
Excellent! We booked all the hotels for our trip through Thailand on sawadee.com and never had a problem., February 16, 2009 by HUG Barbara Visit Date:February 2, 2009 "A very nice hotel with a good breakfast (huge range). The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool as well." |
I am afraid that 3 emails to confirm a reservation is nowaday too complicated. Process should be simplified., January 13, 2009 by Claude Ratelle Visit Date:January 7, 2009 "It is a very good place to stay, well kept and quiet at a short distance from the railway station. the staff is courteous and helpful. I enjoied this hotel very much." |

Excellent, September 12, 2008 by Porta Stefano Guido Visit Date:August 25, 2008 "Locatet just beheind the river in a good position not too far from the center of the town.
Just outside the hotel you can find tuk tuk that for 600 bath offer you a full trip of three hours araund the main archeological sites.
Good restaurant." |
Good., April 2, 2008 by STEINMANN Jean-Paul Visit Date:March 12, 2008 "I booked a Standard Room. Good quality for the price. Nice and good restaurant on the river rim. Breakfast OK. Can recommend." |
April 2, 2008 by STEINMANN Jean-Paul Visit Date:March 12, 2008 "Additional comment: Easy to see the hotel from the road, but not easy to arrive to the hotel by car. Must ask for a map or call the hotel." |
December 9, 2007 by Diana Visit Date:December 3, 2007 "A large well presented hotel just over the river. Unfortunately it looked on the map as if we could walk into town but no pedestrian access across the river meant we were required to take a tuk tuk-even when we didn t want to. Rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast good but no complimentary service to drop us off at the rail station just up the road created unnecessary expense. This was a service provided by other (less expensive) hotels in Nan and Lampang." |
Efficient., December 17, 2007 by Ms Sue Johnston Visit Date:December 3, 2007 "Room delightful & clean. Nice pool. Excellent breakfast. No complimentary transport to train station even tho it is just down the road. The location however is a problem as it is impossible to walk into the centre of Ayuthaya as the road there is a freeway with no pedestrian access. In future would stay right in the centre of town as it was expensive to have to hire a tuk tuk every time you needed to go into or return from town.

Fine, November 29, 2007 by Beryl Belsky Visit Date:November 24, 2007 "This was a festival night (Thai New Year) so the hotel was crowded. Room looked good, but smelled of smoke and there were small cockroach-like creatures running around the bathroom. Festival meal was so-so, as was breakfast, which could have been warmer. Pool only open from 10:00, which is a pity for early morning swimmers. Good views of river." |
